Our Mission

At Redwood Home Service Pros, we believe faith must take tangible form — through compassion, service, and care for those most in need. Guided by James 1:27, our mission is to create a ministry that provides urgent home repairs for individuals and families who lack the means to fix them.

Our vision is simple: to be the hands and feet of Christ by ensuring that vulnerable homeowners — such as elderly individuals living alone, single parents, or those on fixed incomes — can remain safe and dignified in their homes.

When a water heater fails, a roof leaks, or a broken window exposes a family to danger or the elements, it becomes more than a repair issue — it’s a matter of compassion, community, and faith in action.

How It Works

We are currently developing the Redwood Ministry Fund, a partnership between Redwood Home Service Pros and a local sponsoring church that will act as the fiduciary and spiritual overseer of the ministry.

Here’s how the process will function once the ministry launches (projected by the end of 2025, with full operation in 2026):

  • Funding Source:
    Redwood Home Service Pros will donate a percentage of net profit from each job directly to the ministry fund. In addition, any homeowner, client, or community member who wants to help can make a donation — even as little as $5.

  • Use of Funds:
    100% of all donations will go directly to materials, specialty contractors, and labor to complete approved urgent repair projects. There are no administrative or overhead deductions from the donated funds.

  • Church Partnership:
    We will invite churches to partner with us by nominating individuals or families in need. Each church may contribute financially to a specific project — any shortfall will be covered by the ministry fund at the sponsoring church.

  • Application & Approval:
    The application process will be simple and online. Each nomination will be reviewed by the ministry team for scope, cost, urgency, and permitting requirements.

    Projects will typically include small, meaningful repairs that can be completed in a single day, or small punch lists of repairs completed during one visit.

    Priority will be given to urgent needs that affect safety, habitability, or health — for example:

    • No hot water or heat

    • Leaking roofs or plumbing

    • Broken windows or doors

    • Unsafe conditions due to structural or electrical failure

  • Quick Response Commitment:
    For truly urgent needs, our goal is to have a system and process that allows approval and funding within 24 hours, ensuring help is not delayed when it’s needed most.

  • We know insurance restoration inside and out. If there is an insurance company responsible for payment any amount of the job, we will work directly with them only if the homeowner files a claim.

This ministry is not just about repairs — it’s about restoring hope, dignity, and stability. It’s about neighbors helping neighbors, and living out what the Apostle James calls “pure and faultless religion.”

We also invite individuals, homeowners, and businesses to take part through giving — no gift is too small to make a difference. A $5 contribution can help supply a home repair that changes someone’s life.

Projected Launch

We are actively working toward establishing full operations of the Redwood Ministry Fund by early 2026, with foundational partnerships and structure in place by the end of 2025.

Through this ministry, Redwood Home Service Pros commits to doing what The Lord commands of us — to look after those in distress — not just in word, but in action.
