“For years, I worked in home improvement solving major problems for homeowners. Along the way, I started to notice something that weighed on my heart: so many seniors and retirees were struggling with smaller but urgent needs in their own homes. A grab bar in the bathroom, a door lock that actually works, a leaking toilet, a light bulb that’s too high to reach, modern smoke detectors—little things that mean the difference between living safely at home or feeling helpless.
Most contractors don’t take these jobs, and the few that do are often stretched too thin to give them the care they deserve. That never sat right with me. I believe God calls us to serve others, especially those who might feel forgotten. James 1:27 reminds us that true religion is “to look after widows and orphans in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world,” and I see this work as part of that calling.
That’s why I started Redwood Home Service Pros—with the simple goal of treating every home with respect, and every client with care and love. We don’t measure success by profit margins, but by smiles, sighs of relief, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone cares enough to show up, do the job right and at a fair price.
